Liam has over 30 years’ experience in financial model development/auditing, valuations, M&A, strategy, training and consultancy, having worked across many industries in many countries.

Liam has headed modelling teams around the world, currently running his own business SumProduct, specialising in data analysis, decision support, modelling, financial analysis and training.  He has also stood in as an Acting Chief Financial Officer for numerous clients over the years whilst they filled their vacancies.

He is a regular contributor to many accounting institutes around the world, writing regular articles accessible by up to five million accountants, students and affiliates worldwide, reproduced in numerous magazines and financial press. He is author of An Introduction to Financial Modelling, with no fewer than three more books to be published this year on Excel, financial modelling and Power Query.

He is recognized as a Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in Excel by Microsoft, one of approximately 100 appointed globally, specialising in financial modelling, Power Pivot, Power Query and Power BI.
